About the event
High Springs, Florida earned its nickname "Springs Country" from the abundance of freshwater springs surrounding the area! During this paddle meetup, we'll paddle and explore a handful of those springs firsthand.
This is a relatively easy paddle, launching from Rum Island County Park and heading downstream toward the freshwater springs near Ginnie Springs. We'll spend a good chunk of time snorkeling and freediving the springs dotted along the banks of the Santa Fe River.
